Network Coverage
Access network size and scope, including numbers of access points, by technology (i.e., DSL, Dial-Up, Hotel Broadband, WiFi, WWAN) and numbers of countries or cities. Also describes if access is offered on integrated or BYOA basis.
Security Services
Breadth and model for providing remote security services. This includes a description of the security type and 3rd party partner, if available, as well as how it is offered (i.e., as managed/hosted service vs. software license and self-managed).
Value Added Services
Additional offerings beyond access and security. May include managed and professional services, support tiers and SLAs, as well as managed data applications such as push e-mail or in future, business process apps (i.e., FFA, SFA, CRM), and voice services such as cellular, VoWLAN, VoIP, PBX extension, etc.
Usability
Includes access client features for ease-of-use and flexibility, as well as customer management and reporting portals and tools. Overall flexibility of the offer is also considered.
